Try Our Cell Membrane Simulation for Free!
Fill out the form to get free access to your virtual lab and journey inside a cell membrane to learn science in a virtual lab. This trial ends on December 31st, 2021.
Take Your Students on a Journey into a Cell
The Simulation
Together, you and your students will explore why cells need specialized transporter proteins to transport cargo molecules across their membranes. Your mission begins in the synthetic biology lab. Here you will meet Dr. Hacker, who will introduce you to the concept of selective permeability and the fluid mosaic models of the plasma membrane.
The Tools
During this 25-minute simulation, you’ll experience our 3D virtual lab to learn:
- how to use a pipette to transfer substances
- how transporter proteins work
- how different types of molecules can cross the cell membrane
- how transporters keep cells healthy
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to fill out the form on this page, try this simulation, and share it with your students.
Accessibility
Labster accommodates students with visual and hearing impairments. In accessibility mode, you can choose the language in which your students learn best in our newest labs. Our virtual lab simulations are currently available in French, German, Italian, Spanish, English.
